Sustainable Swaps & Thriving Plants
Two years ago, I started a plant swap at Moonflower Coffee Collective as a way to bring together plant lovers, curious beginners, and anyone looking to share in the joy of greenery. Now, as we step into our second year, I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue growing this community of plant enthusiasts!
What to Expect This Year
The Plant Swap will take place every third Saturday of the month, creating a regular space where people can come together to trade cuttings, share plant care tips, and take home something new for their collections. Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just starting your journey, there will be something for everyone.
Plant Cuttings & Sales – Bring your cuttings, rooted plants, or plant accessories to trade! We will also have a selection of plants available for purchase, carefully curated to ensure a variety of options for all types of plant lovers.
Learning Opportunities – Each event will have resources to help you learn how to help your plants flourish. From troubleshooting plant problems to learning propagation techniques, we’ll have plenty of knowledge to share.
Recycled & Sustainable Goodies – Sustainability is a big part of this event, so we’re offering things like free compost, plant containers, and other recycled gardening supplies to help you cultivate your green space in an eco-friendly way.
Why a Plant Swap?
This easy going event is all about community, sustainability, and education. Exchanging plants means fewer plants go to waste, and you get to bring home something new without the cost of buying brand-new plants. Plus, it’s a great way to meet like-minded plant lovers and expand your knowledge of plant care!
Join Us!
If you’ve attended before, thank you for helping make this such a special gathering! If this will be your first time, we can’t wait to welcome you. Bring a plant (or just yourself), sip some coffee, and enjoy an afternoon filled with plants, conversation, and community at Moonflower Coffee Collective.
Here’s to another year of growing together—see you every third Saturday!
